Tops Friendly Markets - Customer Care Review
I went to return bottles. I arrived to find a shockingly disgusting bottle return room that should be shut down by the health department.
Then noticed that all 3 plastic bottle machines were not working. I informed customer service. After waiting about 30 minutes. Another customer went to look for the manager.
Upon findeing the "manager". He called an associate and asked who was taking care of the bottle room. His response was no one. The "manager" then told the associate to take care of it.
He then opened one machine and shook the bin and said. Thats all set. Then emptied another bin. Then said he didnt know what was wrong with the third.
Now 45 minutes later i could start returning my bottles. The first machine after about 10 bottles was full again. So as 5 other customers watched i proceded with the 1 working machine. Then went into the store to redeem the coupons.
December 26. 1 day after christmas there are 2 cashiers open. After my 2 hour ordeal to return recycleable bottles i find that tops supermarkets are absolutly unbelievably incompatent. Tops markets is the very worst shopping expeirience possible.
I recommend they close the store immediatly. Fire every employee including the pretend manager. And attempt to start over. Or just go out of business.
